I have the same problem. Just as I join a game it freezes. I did talk to ea support and they are looking in to it. They said that it's not many ppl that have this problem so they havent noitce it. I have replyed to them now and waiting for an answer.
I did run the "rapair game" on origin. Then I got to join a server. But it not a long term fix.
Heh, "not many people". The 32 page thread on http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2955064774131036047/ would suggest otherwise.
I know they said "not many people". Then I checked all the forums and was surprised of how many people that have the same problem.
Paracel storm and operation locker are the maps my game keeps freezing. I don't know if it's more map but this are the maps I know of.
I have talked to support but the just keep sending me troubleshooting that I need to try.
I have had it on Zavod, Siege and a couple of others as well.
