Ran into this poor support with Battlefield 3 which is why I held back on Battlefield 4 and I'm glad I did.

If DICE can't be bothered to implement the same controller support that every other game I've purchased in 2012-2013, then I can't be bothered to buy their game. This goes for two of my friends as well. We all play on a HTPC.

CoD for me this year again until DICE gets on the ball.

I remember me complaining about this exact problem with Mass effect 3 as well as BF3, hoping for a patch that has never been published. It's not only About EA games, also games like COD3 had no native controller support. We are talking about AAA multi platform games already coded for gamepad support! In the support / help center no moderators or staff people gave a plausible explanation... I think there must be a reason for this, it can't be a coincidence...
