Battlefield 4 origin game time

I have recently downloaded Battlefield 4 to take advantage of Origin Game Time free 1 week trial during the holidays. This is the first time I have downloaded the game but I have received the 'too many computers have accessed this accounts...' error every time I try to launch the game. As far as I'm aware, I have never tried to access BF4 before and this is the first time I have it downloaded on my computer.

My Battlelog (see link below) shows that this is the first time I have activated the Origin Game Time for BF4. I have purchased and played BF3 and don't know if this has caused a conflict on the system somewhere?

Please advise how I can fix this issue.

  • Now there is a problem with the server of service because of attacks by hackers.

    We can only wait.

    Good luck.

Contacted EA support and they tried resetting the game on the server side. It asked for a key this time but you don't get a key in Origin if you go on the game details section for BF4. I'll just have to try again later?

Same here - just downloaded, never played before, Battlelog shows game time has not started.

    WTF EA?

Same as hpfox - waited 2hrs for support, was then asked for key by Origin, support said to reinstall...

Another 4hrs+ wasted while I redownload (AGAIN) - yay!

EA living up to their craptacular record again...

    UPDATE:

Wasted half a day redownloading and reinstalling - no luck

Wasted another 2hrs waiting for support - tried to reset, was then asked for a product key for a trial - support advisor "added a new version" to my library, wasted ANOTHER 4hrs redownloading and installing AGAIN, only to receive the same error message...

Apparently I'ver used up a whole 7 days of game time since this afternoon, on a game that wasn't even in my library until then, despite the fact that both Origin and Battlelog show my free time has not started yet...

Time not started according to Battlelog: http://i.imgur.com/o57kbXL.jpg

Time not started according to Origin Client: http://i.imgur.com/0tWbbU3.jpg

Origin unable to activate - asking for a key: http://i.imgur.com/mqPWqNu.jpg

Time used error (despite the first two images CLEARLY showing this is not the case): http://i.imgur.com/nD5OITb.jpg

    GG EA...

I'm having the same issue. I've been thinking about getting BF4 and saw that it was in the 'Origin Game Time' section on the Origin shop so I thought I'd give it a try first; make sure I'd get enough use out of it.

It says I've used all my game time already - apparently in the 8 hours it took to download I've used 7 days worth of game time and tries to force me to use an activation code.

So I guess I won't be buying BF4. If EA can't be arsed to get their game time functioning properly then I'm not going to trust them to keep the game itself running properly.
