Battlefield 4 premium not working! pc steam/origin
- I bought battlefield 4 premium like a month ago from steam when it was 80% off i played it a couple of days until the game just wont open i pressed the play button on steam and it just close the second i tap it and when i try to join from origin the game is just completely grayed out i tried also joining from battlelog but it said that i do not own this game its been like a month or so and i really dont know what to do
- I tried:
- Reinstalling BF4
- Reinstalling origin
- Reinstalling steam
- Move it to 64x instead of 84x
- Run origin as administrator
- Verify the game through steam
- (Cant repair the game because it doesnt show me an option)
- I really tried everything even contacted with 3 Origin support agents
- I am really lost please help ☹️
- @noderyashluk I had that same issue with Battlefield 3 and this is the solution that corrected the issue for me:
1. Uninstall Battlefield 3 in Steam
2. Hold the Windows key + R.
3. In the command box that opens, type %ProgramData%/Origin then click OK.
4. Go into LocalContent folder and delete Battlefield 4's folder
5. Navigate to This Pc /Local Disk (C🙂/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common and delete the Battlefield 3 folder (your location may be different if you didn't use the default installation location)
6. Restart your PC
7. Install Battlefield 4 on Steam. Hit Play in Steam to finalize Installation
8. Join a server via Battlelog while Steam and Origin are both running.
This is an alternative solution from another user on Steam that may work:
Go to C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License and delete the file/s there then start the game. The game will create new ones and then it will work. This happens every time there's a windows update
