Battlefield 4 PS4 Multiplayer doesnt work at all??

I've heard of some bugs and issues with the PS4 BF4 multiplayer.... But, I'm attempting to play online today (brand new) and it wont connect at all. Ever.

Every time I try to Quick-match or enter any server in ANY online mode, it says it is joining, goes black, and then a few moments later boots me to the menu with the error message "You have lost the connection to the session." without ever successfully entering.

According to both EA and PSN both respective servers are "Online", and my internet connection is working just fine. No router problems, no wifi problems, other games/Netflix etc all work fine. What the hell? Anybody else have this issue?
