Battlefield 4 ps4 Still lags horrible !!

I installed the new patch on the PS4 for the game and it got better slightly. But still the same lagging issues I dont understand why. Very fusterating as this has been happining sense Christmas, and...

Restart your router. For last few nights, I had hard times getting on the servers or when I get on, had serious lags especially in GOLMUD and ZAVOD, and once I reboot the router, it worked right away without lag. (I was getting frustrated thinking it was EA / DICE fault like anyone else would, but I tried a few basic things at home and it worked! Its not EA / DICE fault for my internet connection and router issues).
If this does not work, try a direct connection from your router to ps4. This is how my bro in law fix his issue. For me, I got a new Router and a dedicated SSID.

They should hire you as support help sad that it was such a easy solution and none of there support staff suggested it.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I am glad I was able to help. (Who knew that working as Tech Support during college years almost 20 years ago is going to come in handy again .. LOL)

  Having nothing but trouble with PS4 and PC version. Lag is horrendous. PS4 is connected via ethernet,Restarted the router many times, sometimes it solves the problem other times not a chance. I have SSD in pc which is OK. however i should not have to purchase a new router and an SSD drive for my PS4 to run BF4 smoothly. EA are a complete Joke. told them this personally.
