battlefield 4 ps4 update crashing

i get a couple of messages when i try to join a match online mutliplayer if the message that says "you ust be signed in to playstation network and ea servers to access online features. i am logged in on my playstation but when i go to update it just plainly says "cannot complete the update". i have restarted my playstation. i have deleted the game info from the playstation 4 notifications page. it reinstalls and gives me the error again. i have also gone to the playstation4 settings/aplication saved data management/ i deleted from both save data in system storage and also saved data from online storage. it does nothing. i have talked to playstation and they said to contact DICE.

    Same thing....

    I get a message that I need to be logged in to Playstation Network and EA servers when I attempt to play Battlefield 4 multiplayer on PS4.... I have activated a year subscription of PSN and I am logged onto the Playstation Network..... I then go on to start the update that Battlefield 4 says is required to access online features..... Just as the download is about to complete I get a message that "The update cannot complete".......

    What is going on DICE?

    I just bought the game and am having the same problem.  PS4 is brand new as well.  Looks like this has been an issue since November, and there still is not a fix?
