Agreed @440forPOWER ,
I think a direct and simple remastering of any of the prior classic BF games like BF3, BFBC2 or BF4 would have been very very popular across a vast part of the Battlefield fan base!
That some of these epic BF games are now forced into the cumbersome and clunky BF2042 game designs and awkward menu system is painful to experience now here in the Portal mode, as we know well have beautiful those games used to play in the older days, now 8+ years ago. So with current tech, it should have been way way better even versus the mess we have now in BF2042.
Soldier and vehicle load outs.
Weapon and vehicle controls and dynamics.
Scoreboard.
Squad selection and team play.
Communication options.
and on, and on and on...
And all the many fantastic all-time-greatest maps we have from the past!
With perfect gameplay and flow!
I would personally be happy to have paid up towards $250 for a remaster of just any one of these older classic games, if we got it for the new platforms, but maintaining all of how everything used to be when playing it in the old days! 👍
We never know if it'll come at some point or not 🤭 but i would also like to see it. 🙌
I just don't see it happening that soon, as the Teams are pretty busy with the current titles and all that's still supposed to come.
Especially as still many people play BF4 as it is now, most of them simply just play the PS4 version on the PS5 console.
So i guess EA won't do like a Remake of that just yet, as it's still much played.
Greets,
Travis
