battlefield 4 unlock issue

i have over 800 kills with a specific weapon in battlefield 4 but i have not unlocked the dogtog to showcase these kills. as childish as it is, i would like to have this bragging ability. what have i done wrong to unlock it?

Is it one of weapons from this list?

ACE 23, AKU-12, ACE 52 CQB, Type-95B-1, SVD-12, ACE 53 SV, SCAR-H SV, RPK-12, UMP-9, DBV-12, FY-JS?

If that's the case, then the reason is known - their dogtags were introduce in March 3 patch, and only kills scored after that day count towards the dogtag.

If you're not getting the 93R dogtag, then it's caused by a bug - 500 93R kills do nothing, but 500 M1911 kills unlock both M1911 and 93R mastery dogtags.
