Try this:
Close your browser, go to Origin and right-click on BF4 and select "Play". It will then launch Battlelog and you should be able to successfully Join Servers.

Try disabling Origin in-game: Right click on the game in Origin>Game Options>Disable Origin in-game>Apply the settings
Then try joining a server.
You might also want to run BF4 as Administrator: In Origin, Right click on the game and select "Run As Administrator".
If you are using 2-step Login Verification, you can try disabling this temporarily and see if it changes anything.
