I have been playing this game since it came out. It is still being sold. I have purchased BF3 and BF4 and am not impressed. I always go back to BFBC2. Now the game is broken and EA broke it. I have brought at least 4 characters to rank 50 and planned to continue creating and playing new characters because the game is that fun for me. After they hit 50 I make another. The lost rank is NOT THE SOLE ISSUE. YOU CANNOT GAIN RANK AT ALL, NO UNLOCKS. NO ADVANCEMENT NOW. FIX THE GAME AND THE RANK WILL COME BACK. Do not break your own products, upset long time customers and then issue platitudes as if that is an answer. Does anyone at EA have any idea what went wrong? Just say so, fix it and move on. If EA has botched the game beyond repair we should be told. With the cost of PC gaming (from the equipment to run the games to the game itself the costs stay high and go higher still). With demonstrated performance issues the last 5 years ( bad customer service, Bad communication and premium game titles that do not play well if at all,) I believe it will be bad for EA in the future. Soon I will be removing origin from my PC and no be longer purchasing games from EA. I am that close. I have owned every Battlefield game since Battlefield Vietnam back in the 90's (not the add on version for BFBC2 though I bought the add on and never play that either.) and I have had it. I could care less that I have to build rank again, thats the fun part for me. Now the game I like is broken, you can not rank/ unlock anything, cant give ammo (not unlocked yet.) cant repair ( tool not unlocked yet), cant give first aid (kit not unlocked) and you can not unlock it no matter how long you play now. Broken. Put out a title as good as or better than BFBC2 and more people will move away from the older game you no longer want to support. I remain disappointed at the money I spent for BF3 and BF4 and am still annoyed that I had to download and install Origin just to play them. It appears EA spent more money and time on Origin and advertising new games than they spent on the actual games themselves. I realize this is mostly a perspective issue but it is the only perspective I have to veiw this problem over 3 game titles since EA has done little to change my perspective with information on the issues. What are customers supposed to think? I expect a useable product for my money or I want my money back. It may be too late to get a refund on BF3 and BF4 but I can make sure I don't suffer from buyer's remorse at EA's hands again. Give me a good experience for my 50+ dollars and I wont complain. Give me hours of updates evey other day and games that are not synced right, crazy lag and unexplained glitches then throw in service issues and no communication from the manufacturer of the products...well, any one who has any sense will know where I am going with this. Thank you for your regard of this issue.
