Why Wont my ps3 connect to battlefield servers.. it always gives me a can't connect to online servers command... please help...

Since I bought the game I have not been able to play online.. ive tried with different routers and still no connection... I just click on multiplayer and it loads and then the message comes on about can't connect to ea servers check or your not connected to your psn wich I am... what's going on I really want my money back EA if it isn't a plug n play like call of duty is !!
Did you end up fixing the problem with the connection issues as i am having the same problem with a new disc that i bought and was wondering if there was a way to solve it or just best to take it back.
