BF 1 display driver crashing
So BF 1 always causes my display driver to crash. About a minute or so into playing the screen goes black and stops receiving a signal. I still hear the game sounds but there is no signal to the moni...
Thanks @Carbonic! _O_
Problem solved!
Is this a known issue at NVidia Geforce Experience software?
Both Teams EA and NVidia Software should work together at a solution.
Hey @Myopia_NL,
sorry, must have skipped the clean boot part - my bad.
GeForce Experience itself doesn't necessarily have to, but can cause issues. Since you usally have quite a lot of auxiliary processes running, it can be tough to determine which ones interfere in particular. Anything that's more than one overlay for starters. If you have GeForce Experience, Origin In-Game and maybe even a Discord Overlay, that can be a bit too much.
Glad to hear you got that sorted - enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I'm beginning to believe that this is a power supply problem - it IS over 6 years old. I've ordered a new evga 850w power supply and I'm going to test it. If i'm wrong I'll return it and keep working on this. ☹️
It seems to have been the power supply dying because I haven't experienced a crash for a few days now. My guess is BF1 was the most intensive game I was playing causing the PC to crash at first but it started happening in other games after that. So now I have an 850w EVGA PSU and everything is fine. Thank you to everyone who posted here trying to help, say's a lot about the battlefield community <3
Hi @Art0ficial
Glad to hear that the problem is solved. Honestly, I would have never thought that the badboy is the PSU, probably because I using laptop. Thank you for sharing with us this experience! Have fun with Battlefield!
