BF1 & BF5 Not launching (Are we gonna get an update from EA?)

I bought bf1 and bf5 on steam few days ago and neither are launching, bf5 just closes after the splash screen, and bf1 shows an error saying I need to repair. I tried every single fix on these forums on the steam discussions.

Now If anyone knows another way to make this work I would appreciate it, but if not, can we get any kind of information if EA/DICE are going to release a fix for this? It's very clear that many people are facing the same issue. So, can we excpect an update? if yes then when? Thank you.

Windows10 latest update

Nvidia 3060ti

Intel12400F

No mods on other games, no Other EA games installed even.

No overlays

No other programs running at the same, not even other services.

This solves the game returning to EA app with no error, and also solves the problem that tells you to always repair. courtesy to this reddit post from 3 YEARS ago lol

I had at one point Dragon age inquisition installed, and with it Frosty mod manager, I knew that Frosty caused trouble so I deleted it but even then it didn't solve the problem (crashed kept happening).

To fix it you need to delete a key from the registry.
All you have to do is:
    - Open registry (search for 'regedit')
    - Press CTRL+F (or simply search)
    - Look for "GAME_DATA_DIR"
    - It will take a few seconds, but if it finds something (For me it had my old dragon age inquisition install dir), right-click on it and then remove.
    - That's it, enjoy.

I hope you find this helpful everyone.

My end also the same no registry with  "GAME_DATA_DIR" found. My system is running Windows 11 pro with all the latest update with intel 14700K with RTX 5070. I am not sure why BF1 is not running. Any help will be appreciated. the BF1 popup comes and then it closes soon after the AntiCheat executes.
