Clean boot. That fixed it entirely. There is a link:-

Trust me it’ll work. Just run the game after the clean boot, and then start enabling services and start-up apps on by one. This will mean multiple restarts after activating ever couple of services.

    The worst part is I've done nothing to change my computer. Origin changed, updated the game, and now it's broken.
