BF1 DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HANG DirectX Error
So Battlefield 1 is constantly crashing with with a DirectX error "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HANG. I only see this error on Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4.

So it appears a new error message is displaying when then game crashes.
The first error displayed is the initial error when bf crashes.
After i hit 'debug' on the windows error prompt I get the second error shown.
This appears to be the same issue but with a different front.
The only specific fault I know of that is likely to be wrong when the GPU is actually above the required minimum is corrupted graphics driver APIs, and the only fix I've known to work is removing the damaged files, cleaning the registry, and starting anew, clean. The DDU utility will automate these three actions for you.
I keep planning to view a video clip that ragnarok013 gives out links to, and forget to do so on the rare occasions I allow the fast system to connect to the 'Net.

Seemed that a system file was corrupted: opencl.dll

I have done a full system wipe (ie. reformatted HDD and re-installed windows) and the issue is still present. DDU is not the solution.
