BF1 high fps singleplayer and low fps in multiplayer

hello, i have a problem with my game.

When i play singleplayer i can easily play on high/ultra with constant 50-60 fps. But when i go to mutliplayer, i have to put the graphics on the lowest to get about 30 fps (maybe more or maybe less). I saw a lot of videos where they have the same specs as me (or worse) and got more fps then me. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBsSSwCecAA) - example.

I dont know what the problem is.

Here are my specs:

Palit GTX 1050ti 4gb

AMD Phenom ii x4 955 3,8 ghz

6gb ram

and the game is also installed on a 240gb san disk ssd

I know that the cpu is not the best, but you cant tell me that bf1 is such a cpu heavy game. Hope you can help ,e

    Hello @eiermeierrr

I am really sorry for those troubles with the game. Have you updated your GPU drivers? Can you also try to perform the troubleshooting steps, mentioned in this article on the connection issues.

    Cheers,

  • Hello @eiermeierrr

As I can see on this video was recorded Open Beta of Battlefield 1.  Battlefield 1 Open Beta and Battlefield 1 Retail (release version) are different versions. Both versions have different performance. Now for playing Battlefield 1 Multiplayer you should have very powerful CPU. Usually low FPS you can see on the large maps and modes, for example: Conquest Large. On the Large maps your FPS will be low and your game will be freezing. For testing, you can try to play few rounds on the small modes like as TDM or Domination and then, play Conquest Large and you should see difference.

  • I've also been having this issue, when I first got the game, (when it first came out), I would get a solid 144 fps at ultra, now, I can get 144 in SP, but in MP, it tends to drop all the way to 3 fps for no reason. Highest I've gotten is around 55 fps. I also reinstalled and updated my drivers and nothing seems to help. I've also tried lowering the setting from ultra to low, and there is still no change.

Edit: I have reinstalled and updated my GPU drivers to the newest version (378.78) and reinstalled BF1, there has been an fps increase, but i think that would be contributed to the newest drivers giving performance boosts with DX12 on. But the increase in frames was only around 20-30, still lacking heavily compared to the previous frames achieved. I have also monitored CPU, GPU and RAM usage; CPU usage never hit 100 to show bottle necking; GPU was of course ok; RAM was fine also.  At this point, I have no idea on what to do.

    PC Specs:

    Windows 10

    i7-6700 @3.40ghz

    16GB DDR4 RAM

    GTX1080 8GB VRAM
