BF1 lag spikes, cant fix it

A couple of days ago lags appeared. Im lvl 97 in the game and everything was OK. I did not change video card i did not change game video setting i did nothing but lags appeared.

This lag spikes are terrible i cant play a game, it's impossible. What is wrong?

5 minutes of a game is normal and then for 5 minutes it's lagging. Everyone else is ok, i see how smooth they are moving, it's only me, who is jumping back and forward back and forward. My internet connection is 50mbit/sec. Videcard GeForce 1050 TI.

I tryed to find solution but nothing helped. i turned off all not microsoft services in MSCONFIG, i put a game in a window without border i put video setting on low. Nothing helped.

Im sure that it's not my PC that causes those lags, something wrong with a game.

  • Greetings and thank you for choosing Answers HQ.

First, would you please mind sharing your PC specs?

Second, I believe from the description you gave us, your character seems to be rubberbanding all the time.

This can be caused by your internet connection. Constant high/unstable ping and packet loss can affect these types of issues.

Are you on WiFi or Wired connection?

Can you also do a speed test to the nearest server to you and show us the results?

(High ping to close servers is an issue that happened to me before, gave my ISP a call and they fixed something wrong with the wires)

Also you can refer to this helpful topic made by Killping.com

    Good luck 🙂

  • What are your pc specs, it might be FPS lag.If not, try browsing some videos on youtube and try to find something that you think will work.Just so you know, a graphics card is not the only requirement, you need sufficient ram, strong enough processor, try to make sure nobody else in your house is using internet for additional boost, If it is too high ping. Also, if it is bad connection lag, high ping, take a look at which server are you playing, I suggest using server browser. There you will see the ping and the location of the server. For example if you are from north or south america and you are playing on european servers, of course there will be lag.Hope this helped.

  • It could just be network lag caused by someone else using most of your internet bandwith. How long has this been an issue?

Lags appeared at the start of august. I played BF1 since the release with middle video settings and everyting was OK since this august. It's only me who is using this internet. Internet speed is 50 mbit/sec and i checked while i'm lagging it's only me who is connected to the WiFi router.

I usually choose to play Quick Match conquest and my ping is always 30-40. When server is half empty i change server by using server browsing and i sort all servers by ping and choose server with 35-39 ping. When Lag Spikes appeared my ping is normal (usually 37) it's not rising up, it's just LAGGING. My character jumping back and forward, even if i play as pilot - plane flying back and forward. I played since the release and i neved had any little lag. But on the start of august 2017 - it's impossible to play. Also i searched in google how to fix this lag spikes and i tryed every single link on the 1st page.

ALso on youtube i found 1 video with similar problem but this guy only captured it and have no solution

Have you tried removing the power cable from all your networking equipment for 5 minutes?
