BF1 Matchmaking

Question

&nbsp; The matchmaking in BF1 is horrible, it makes me not even want to play the game.&nbsp; There is only a close game about every third or fourth time if you're lucky, and the train and boat seem less and less capable of sticking around for very long or doing much to sway the fight.&nbsp; What are EA/Dice doing with all the match data if they're not using it for matchmaking???
&nbsp; It also seems like the team balancing between matches either switches 1 or 2 players, or goes completely nuts and switches 20 - 30 players, and I'm getting switched almost every round.&nbsp; I'm not very good so I can't see why it would switch me so often, but it's incredibly sucky to be on a good team that is playing as a team, only to find next round that your team is made of assaults who don't kill vehicles, medics who don't revive, supports who don't give ammo, and snipers who don't spot.&nbsp;

&nbsp; In Short, the matchmaking sucks and the team balancing is worse.

2 years later, and the matchmaking is still terrible.

You'd think point 1 would be to NOT fill up the team that won the previous round first. Nowadays, every new round starts with 8-10 more players on the team that won the previous round.

I.e. it's never going to get fixed, and the next bf will have exactly the same issues.

I'm sure EA is aware of the uneven matchmaking and is doing everything they can to address the problem. Even with a fix, there will always be players whom don't play the objective

Matchmaking is conducted through EA service providers, this is something not to do with BF1. However the point you making of team balancing is implemented into the BF1 code to help make teams more even using Skill into factor etc. DICE is hoping the community uses it's own initiative and switch teams through the pause menu. DICE is trying to improve this through CTE servers.

A mid game balancer like in previous titles is meant to be in the works at the moment. People thought it might arrive in the January patch. Obviously not but maybe it'll be in the next one.
