BF1 PC - How to get rid of controller - Cant use vehicles, mortar, plane etc.

Problem:
Can't use Mortar, Tanks, Planes.
These are all set to move with W,A,S and D. Some should also work with the mouse.
90% of the time, the only thing that works is shooting. I can't steer the plane, it will just crash. I cant move the mortar shooting location, it moves barely when I make huge mouse movements, it almost doesnt move at all. Stationary guns move half of the time as they should, some dont move at all.
I have an Xbox controller installed on my PC. Trying to fix this problem, I disabled it in Windows and restarted my PC as suggested. Still the problem persists. It also shows an Xbox controller in the game controlsettings. However, I disabled it correctly as it no longer works ingame.
Im a PC gamer, I like to play shooters with mouse and keyboard. Please help me to fix this sickness.
Just another example how games with a priority for consoles infect my experience with ebola. Im sorry, but this is ruining my experience a lot.

EDIT: Im amazed that developers, leave something as essential as controls, untested. If I would do my job like that, Im quite sure Im quickly out of a job. This is very poor.
