Dear EA Official,

I hope this message finds you well.

As a dedicated fan of EA's games, I have always appreciated the products your company creates. However, as an advocate for digital fairness and user rights, I must express my strong opposition to the introduction of EA Anti-Cheat (EAAC) in your games, and I would like to voice my concerns directly to you.

First and foremost, the operational mechanism of EAAC involves accessing deeper system-level privileges. Such kernel-level anti-cheat tools may pose potential security risks to users' systems. While we understand that EA aims to maintain fairness in its games, this approach seems overly aggressive, potentially leading to system stability issues and privacy vulnerabilities. Players install and play games for entertainment, not to face potential security threats.

Secondly, kernel-level anti-cheat software raises serious concerns about privacy and data security. Today, data privacy is a global concern, and users are highly cautious about the programs running on their systems. EAAC's requirement for such high system privileges inevitably leads to questions about how data is being processed, especially when there is insufficient transparency. As players, we need assurances that our data will not be accessed or used without our explicit consent outside of the gaming environment.

Additionally, kernel-level anti-cheat tools can negatively impact system performance. For users with lower-end computers, such tools may consume additional resources, potentially leading to a degraded gaming experience. The introduction of EAAC may force many players to face performance drops or, in some cases, even lose the desire to continue playing your games.

We are not opposed to having an anti-cheat system in games. On the contrary, as players, we also value fair gaming environments. However, many other anti-cheat solutions are already effective without compromising system security and privacy. We urge EA to explore more player-friendly alternatives, rather than resorting to invasive kernel-level tools.

As a loyal EA supporter, I sincerely hope your company will reconsider the implementation of EAAC, listen to the voices of players, and provide a safer and fairer gaming environment for everyone. Additionally, we hope that EA will engage in more open communication with players in the future, to collectively create a better gaming experience.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and I look forward to hearing your response.

Sincerely,

A loyal player
