BF1942 Disc Version Won't Start

@emile44 Thank you emile44. I lost the number 1 disk for BF1942 a few years ago. Recently I had a hankering to play the game again. One of my favorite maps, Eagles Nest, was not available via the version I have on Origin as it only includes the original release and none of the expansions. (The BF2 custom version of Eagles Nest made by imtheheadhunter & EzPiKnZ is okay, but not as good as the original)

Anyway, I found an unused copy of the anthology in a charity shop selling for £0.50, so snapped it up a few days ago. When i installed it, I couldn't get it to work. I tried several things before searching online and came across your comment; so I downloaded your pack and it worked. I'm so pleased as I loved BF1942,, especially the expansion. Despite its now ancient graphics, its still an amazing game. I remember buying it when it was released (still got the original copy as well) and was awed by its immersion. I thought BF Vietnam was however a better game and am still playing that occasionally. Again, thanks for posting. Very much appreciated. Really looking forwards to installing some of the custom maps I had backed up on disks. 🙂
