BF1942 NOT STARTING

WHY doesnt BATTLEFIELD 1942 work with windows 10 It worked when i had windows 7 everytime i try start it i just hear a pling but no boot up and it acts as if its about to start but no loading screens or anything the screen just blinks and goes back to desktop PLEASE HELP me EA i really want to play this classic again

1 you need the gamespy patch

It was not the origin version, but since I saw its fix in the old comment, I applied it and it worked.
You should renew the cd rom fix file because it is corrupted.
Additionally, the game takes too long to open and closes and reopens after completing a mission. I wonder if the reason is incompatibility?
