BF4 - Please let me Skip Cut and Limited Movement Cut Scenes

I can understant that in campaign your trying to tell  a story, and therefore cut scenes where I have no or limited control of my character are neccessary. Sometimes a player simply has to watch it to figure out what we are doing in the mission, other times it just adds to the story.

However when i'm hunting for achievements or getting high score in campaign or playing scenes multiple times at differnt hardness levels, the cut scenes are just bloody annoying and waste my time.

So it would be apprecaited that in the next version, please let us skip any scene where I have zero or limited interaction AFTER we have played through the Campaign one time. If we complete the Campaign (or maybe even that scene), then those zero and limited interactivity Cut Scenes should be optional that I can skip by pressing "B" button on Xbox 360 (or equivalent on other platforms).

For exampel, The start of the Baku mission where we are underwater (the only choice we have is to wait utnil the end and press "X" to shoot the window) the start of the Shanghai mission has this long drawn out speech by the captain while we wait to be dropped into the water . The same applies to that sequence where I wander through the ship loooking for Irish. And the start of the Prison cell Kunlun Mountains Mission should be skipable.

I shoudl be able to press "B" to skip all of those scenes.

This is how Halo has done it from day one, and it would also help distance you from COD Campaign too. COD is even more grevious because you can't skip a single cut scene . I refuse to play COD Campaign because of this.

  • I honestly can't understand why you think they're trying to tell a story in BF4 as it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever if you have even the vaguest knowledge of geography.

Forget geography, basic storytelling took a beating here.

It feels unfinished and cut to pieces, there are big chunks of the story that feel missing. I have no connection to any of these characters.

Example: Irish hates Hannah immediately for almost no reason (dunn died, no trust, whatever) then all of a sudden they are **bleep**ing besties.. what the hell?

The aircraft carrier you're on is hit with an EMP, lots of problems, lots of danger they (obviously) get into (running from destroyers etc) but you NEVER SEE IT.

How did they get into the mountains? (prison)

    How did they get out?

"2 days later" is a HUGE cop-out in a storytelling sense.

The whole game feels like it was cheap and cut-price. It feels like they put no effort into it or completely ran out of time and just cut together some short little thing full of holes with nothing to bridge the gaps between missions and story points.

This is why i used to buy CoD, the CoD single player stories were always SO much better than this.

dice is good in multyplayer but in single player they don't have nothing. Is like cod is the yang of battlefield 4. Battlefield 4 good multiplayer poor single player . Cod poor mutiplayer good single player
