bf4 assignments not unlocking

assignment eagle's nest for the gol magnum reward.

got the 5 kills on the tower in firestorm.  the assignment showed the completion of that step.

2 or 3 games later, and i have battlelog game reports to prove it, i got 18 kills on rogue transmission 9 of which were with the srr sniper rifle.  I got the sniper rifle ribbon for killing at least 6 ppl with a sniper rifle.  the gun should be unlocked now as I'm >level 10 and I have second assault obvously. 

The gun is not unlocked for some bugged up reason and the achievement has reset.  similiar to the issues with the game reseting everyones stats and weapons and loadout.  Need a EA person to read this and fix it.

    why does it not say that in battlelog?  and why are pros on youtube saying they got it in different rounds?

    Why does it not specify, "in the same round"?  Instead of "in a round" for the five kills and no specification for the sniper rifle ribbon?
