BF4 freezes at start screen (pc)

Hey all, I have a weird situation. Tried to play bf4 the other day but it won't load past the start screen. We tried to play on my son's computer (his own account) and it does exactly the same thing...

Sorry you are still seeing an issue. You can determine if recent Windows Updates are the issue by uninstalling the most recent one(s).

Windows updates can sometimes be troublesome.

Uninstalled latest Windows update but no change...game still freezes. I tried to start BF3 and it did the same thing though some other Origin games are working.
