u can do alt+tab? it is not a system freeze but bf4!?
run command prompt as Admin and enter a command:
for /D %T in (ACEEventLog Application Setup System)do wevtutil epl %T "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\%T.evtx" /ow:true
This makes a SysLogs on ur desktop *.evtx - give it to us.
technically PC is not freezing @MADrag0n only the screen. I can do alt tab yes but i can not see the window that i choosed. I can see them in only pop up window by holding alt+tab. can not do anything.
And ofcourse @Carbonic but let me have that freezing problem again and change the language of OS for you guys to understand first.
By the way when I start searching about the problem online i added the keyword "transitioning" and i came across with some further steps to follow on BF4 Forums:
1. Disable Page File
- Go to System
- Go to Advance System Settings
- In Performance section click on Settings and click Advanced tab.
- In Virtual memory section click on Change... button
- Select each disk enabled with Paging and set setting to No Paging file and hit Set button
- Now all your listed disk should show Paging File Size as "None"
- Press OK button to exist from the menu
- We will reboot pc later once we change more settings, there is no need to restart the PC now.
2. Disable Superfetch
- Open run and type services.msc from run or win8 start screen (make sure applications on right menu is selected) or open services console by other means.
- Find Superfetch service, right click it and go to properties
- In General tab select startup type as disabled.
- We will reboot pc later once we change more settings, there is no need to restart the PC now.
3. Disable Prefetch
- Open registry editor, type regedit (You need to have admin rights)
- Navigate to following key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters\
- Right click and select Modify on "EnablePrefetcher" and set Value data: to "0" click ok
- Right click and select Modify on "EnableSuperfetch" and set Value data: to "0" click ok
4. Restart your PC.

I don't want upset u, but this 1, 2, 3 is not related to the problem 99%! And I recommended to u leave it enabled.
And how about *.evtx - give it to us?

I have exactly the same kind of freeze! Finally I found someone - we are in this together. :-)
From another topic I was suggested to run Origin as administrator, but that didn't help, I still had freezes. But I think I found a better solution for my rig. I downgraded to an older GPU driver (Nvidia GeForce 368.81, current one is 372.90) and my problem is almost gone. Unfortunately I still had 2 freezes in the last couple of days, but the freezes were much more frequent before. The difference is like night and day. - Anonymous9 years ago
I'll do that for you @MADrag0n but for now im trying to install en_US LPack via CMD 🙂 Single language version is troubling about that hahah

@MADrag0n here they are mate. You can simply look for the previous timestamps that i told you guys earlier [1:07 - 1:06 am] if that's what u looking for. -Sorry website didn't allow me to send them seperately-
And @RaZorBlaDe75 it makes two of us mate. 🙂 this is some pain in the * problem.

In those logs I see no activity at 1:07 - 1:06 am

@Carbonic did u check the latest one? I took them out right after chash so latest ones should be.

ok. I see two problems in logs:
1) Event 10016. Try to resolve it in this way, then restart PC. (I know this for XP, but it goes and for Win10 ))
2) Ur cpu sometimes slowdown... U should check it in this way:
- download this and unzip the files to your desired location.
- Run the Prime95 executable as Admin and select "Just Stress Testing" when asked.
- The default options are sufficient to do a well balanced stress test on the system.- use it 30 minutes minimum and note cpu temperature and system stability

@MADrag0n mate it doesn't work for me. there is no AppID file in regedit under specified folder only one named (default) and I have no idea what I'm gonna looking for in component services. There is nothing in there named "friendly" or "appguid"
EDIT: there is this one tho found it online. should I try this one? http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-performance/error-event-id-10016-distributedcom/130522d2-beac-4495-980a-65e1e3279901?auth=1 @MADrag0n

Yes, there's events happening at 1:07 - 1:06 am in either of the 3 logs.
As for the suggested CPU slowdowns it might be worth it to try setting Windows's power options to the plan "High Performance".
- Anonymous9 years ago
Yeah @Carbonic you can also see them on the top of the lists. as I told u guys took the last one right after another crash. Also I have an AIO PC so there is not any battery and its options in PC.
I'm about to give up mate. I think we can not fix this. ☹️
