Did you delete your old microsoft files out of the redist folder for the version from the microsfot website to work because when i treid running them it said that version was blocking the version i have installed.
Im having the same issue I've tried everything above (apart from the Microsoft download) and nothing has worked, I repair my Microsotf things and it doesn't work, please can someone help.

I got mine working by going into the Origin application and changing the properties of bf4 to x86 (or x64) can't remember which but just swap it and try it

Swapped to x86 and it worked.
No idea why but whatevs...
Windows 10 updated from 8 (not fresh install)
BF4 not fresh either
I did run as admin x64 and x86 vc redist from BF4 folder but Im not sure it did anything at all...

Yep, had the same problem and this fix worked for me. Real simple as described, just go into your Origin app window > My Games > right mouse click on Battlefield 4 box art graphic > click GAME PROPERTIES > WHEN LAUNCHING THIS GAME choose Battlefield 4 (x86) > click OK.
