so every time i play bf4 i get this issue. its really frustrating because it keeps happening multiple times and minimizes the game. if i recall correctly it happened around the time i lowered my resolution from native. crysis does this also but only when i lower my resolution if i remember correctly.

my specs are an 4th gen i7 at 2.4ghz, 8 gigs of ram and a geforce 755m with 2 gigs of vram
it is the virtual memory/desktop composition.
I get the same thing. It once stayed away but after reinstalling my pc it came back. On 32 bits games (you cannot do this on 64 bits exe files) I configure the exe file of the game to disable desktop composition when running. After closing the game, desktop composition is enabled. I do run the 32bits of bf4 as I prefer it.

thank for the reply i increased virtual memory size but that didnt help. i will try the desktop compisition thing
