BF4 Mouse input lag

After seeing that the BF1 servers are too far away from me to get a low ping and be able to play properly, I figured I`d go back to BF4. Only problem is that although I am getting an average of 160 fps on the highest settings, I get a weird lag and my mouse doesn`t feel responsive. After searching on forums I saw that some other people had the same problem. Apparently they solved it by setting raw mouse input off in the BF4 files. This specific file should be located in the "settings" file, but I could not find it. All the posts surrounding this problem where created sometime in 2013 or 2014. This leads to the conclusion that the files might have changed since then. Is there any way to turn off raw mouse input in the files today? I tried turning it off ingame but it did not help at all.
