The last link is bad but be sure your desk top resolution and your in game resolution are the same if not done already. I game on 5760 x 1080 without issues so something someplace is mucked up so we just need to find it.
To help BF4 run nicer and pull out more FPS ingame do this if you want...
In game video settings right side set to custom and set everything to medium or low but last three turn them off ....
1-antialiasing deferred off
2-antialiasing post off
3-ambient occlusion off
on left side be sure vertical sync is off also set resolution scale to under 100 like 80 or 90 this will up you FPS
Fixed the last link.
Don't need higher framerate - I run 90-110 FPS on ultra with 4x MSAA.
I just need to figure out why my settings won't save properly and I have to delete the PROFSAVE file before running the game every single time. Desktop and game resolution are the same - 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz

Thanks for the suggestion; didn't fix things sadly ☹️
I'm half tempted to just stop worrying about it and just delete PROFSAVE after every game session and just reset my settings each time I start the game... kind of annoying but only takes 30 seconds or so.

I would suggest reinstalling battlefield 4 and reset the Documents folder with the BF4 Save files, this way it should reset to factory settings of BF4 (Game progress is unaffected due to built in Auto Cloud save system) If this doesn't work I am afraid you might need to wipe your PC clean and reinstall from scratch, this is quite common with PC upgrades since the system has the hardware saved etc. Hope this helps!
