BF4 on Linux

I am tired of windows, Linux is way better, but the only thing that makes that i have to dual boot and not to keep only linux is GAME SUPPORT!!

If it would be possible to make BF4 compatible with Linux it would make million people's life easier, today no one likes windows anymore, if Linux had EA games compatibility it would make Linux the ultimate OS.

Valve is working to make it possible but why not EA, you do great games!

Linux (Mint) is a lot smoother than windows, it's light, takes less ram!

Using wine doesn't work because it has to emulate DIRECTX CR@P

Use OPENGL! At least for BF3!

  • Sorry but Battlefield 4 is not available for Linux, and as we know not in the future too. There's nothing we can do for it. Windows is dedicated to gaming. Valve is different company - with different views. 😕mileyhappy:

Windows isn't at all dedicated to gaming it eats all the ram takes more space isn't optimised and full of bugs!

You surely have never tried linux, it's stable light and optimised.

Games editors like ea boycot linux because they are going to be bought by microsoft.

Again, this is not the place to discuss this. I will close this thread now, as you are not asking for any technical help. If you have anymore questions, please open a new one and we will try to help you as best as we can.

See my above post, on where to provide feedback for this game. I have also marked it as solved, for better visibility.
