I have 2 power profiles on windows 7 64. Balanced(core parking) and High performance(added no core parking, all 8 cores active).
And i usualy enter the BF3 and BF4 with "high performance" power plan. And 1 day i forgot to change it from balanced to high performance for BF4 and i was getting horrible stutter and 0.5sec freezes every 2secs (fps was near 50-60)(cpu usage below %50 when i checked the performance tab on task manager, i thought cpu using %100 cpu all cores) Then i alt tabed to change the power profile to high performance, and game was so smooth as before. Changed back to balanced, and it was horrible stutter as i described above. Back to high performance, smooth as butter.
i7 4770k(no OC), 16gb1866cl10corsair2x8 , Asus760gtxDirectCU2 (factory overclock) , asus z87 deluxe last bios all default other than Ram XMP , corsair SSD128 , Windows 7 ultimate x64 sp1 , Nvidia 331.65 ( all default options , but single display performance option active)

Can run the likes of masive demanding games like bf3, splinter cell blacklist etc all in high ultra and have no problems what so ever only ever happens with bf4..played today after finally getting it to load and reieved my first normal crash with the typical "battlefield 4 isn't responding" then restarted played one game then got my red screen of death which then i gave up and started playing arma 3 in ultra with no problems. i really really want to play battlefield 4, but at the moment its unstable, i can run the likes of battlefield 3 in ultra with absolute no problems not even a lag spike or frame rate drop. i pop on bf4 and i do notice sometimes it will stutter from 90/100 frames down to like 30 then hover around 50 then back down to 30 then up to 90/100..
PLEASE SORT IT OUT!
Gods sake i got rid of call of duty ghosts for bf4 on pc but cant even play it! ☹️
