I have a half-assed solution that seems to work for me. What I do, is monitor my RAM usage while playing. It usually hangs around 25-35%, but after a couple of rounds it'll start to skyrocket until it gets to 98%. What I do, is Alt+Tab out of the game as soon as I notice it climbing. For some strange reason, this seems to stop the climb. Either way, it's ridiculous that so many people are having this issue and there still isn't a fix for it yet.
Couldn't play a single round today because it constantly happens, even in the very first round. This is driving me nuts because it also requires me to reboot the PC...
Alt Tabbing - don't know about that. I constantly checked the RAM usage, nothing every happened. Then suddenly, the game started to stutter and I was at 99% usage. I checked every 30s or so.
I have an LCD display on my keyboard, that I constantly monitor the ram and cpu with. It will jump from 25-30% to 98% in a lot less than 30 seconds. The trick is to alt-tab as soon as you see it climb.
