I'm getting the same problem. Funny thing is, the game ran smoothly with Catalyst 13.11 Beta (don't know which) until yesterday, which is the day I bought Premium lol.

Specs:

Windows 8 x64

AMD Phenom x6 1055T

8GB G-Skill Sniper DDR3 Ram
