@mickey: cleary a different problem...
@discussion above:
also this issue is not SSD related. it seems like it occurs only with w8(.1) and mostly with HD6xxx cards and below. I would guess that users suffering from memory loss with win7 and/or different gpus are actually experiencing a different issue.
Because now everyone writes without reading the other pages (I agree these are too many)
I would like to make a summary.
1)Does not matter if you have any amount of memory 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB (DDR2 or DDR3) etc.
2)Does not matter if you have AMD or Intel CPU
3)Does not matter if you have AMD or NVIDIA GPU
4)Does not matter if you have HDD or SSD
4)Does not matter if you have Windows 7, 8, 8.1 (x86 or x64)
All these comes if you read the previus pages and other threads to other forums.
So it is an EA/DICE issue and they MUST FIX IT ! ! !

Your are wrong on point 3).
It does matter if you have an AMD GPU. More specifically the 6XXX series and older cards. There is a pattern.
How did I discover this you may ask? I know you saw the other pages but read them again and you will find this pattern. Also, all members of my clan have graphics cards above the 6XXXX series and not single one has this problem. I'm the only one.
And some Nvidia users also have this problem but it I can't find any thing in comon.

I believe Step 3 is not confirmed and I also suspect now this is AMD specific problem . I had issues with the game as long as I had 4Gb RAM (see page 27 for details in my prev post). The game requires 6Gb of RAM. That's an absolute minimum for stutter free gameplay!
After I upgraded to 12Gb I haven't seen crashes/stuttering since the heavy virtual memory paging has stopped. During the last weekend I was playing for many hours without any crashes/memory related issues so I don't have this problem with GTX770 and Win8.1.
I suggest that anyone posting in this thread should just provide more details and a ProcessExplorer screenshot with all memory relaed fields enabled instead of simply stating "memory leak here as well".

This same issue occured to me when back in BF3 on Win7 with my 6970 and an AMD driver update fixed it.
Now w/BF4 (now on Win8 but same graphics card) it's deja vu. I can only hope that this too gets addressed in the next driver update.

Anyone that thinks they are experiencing this leak needs to check for these specific symptoms:
1. ALL your ram being used, but not by the bf4 process. It will instead be shown as being used by "non-paged pool memory" in the task manager.
2. Exiting battlefield 4 does nothing to alleviate it when it happens. All your memory continues to be used by non-paged pool memory in the task manager, and the entire computer remains very unresponsive until you fully reboot the machine. This happens to me even with 16 gigs of ram (i5-2500, 16gb ram, amd 6950 2gb).

I'm not on Win8.1....just 8.
