BF4 sound loop crash after 13 Feb. Patch (no improvement after 18 Feb. update)

I seem to have every single error in the book.

Thanks EA for anotherone I can cross of the list since the update. I can play from 20 sec. up to 2 rounds till it crashes.

Battlefield 4 is by far the bugiest Battlefield ever. Great Job having more money then ever and still **bleep**ing it up worse then ever. Maybe you shoud go back to making good games instead of trying to be Activision. Bad Company Vietnam was a **bleep**ing good game.

Setup:

Windows 8.1 Pro
i5-3570K CPU

AMD Radeon HD 6970

BTW: I have the Logitech Headset aswell... something there?!

I kind of got a sollution. I removed my usb soundcard and plugged my headset in my front panel audio plugs, and I've now played for more than 30 mins without problems!

Same problem here.

Game worked very good before last patch.

I have 2 problems now :

1. Game freeze + sound loop on most maps, 1 min after joining

2. TDM no sounds...

Amatures really.

If I was a developer at DICE or EA, i'd quit before EA/Dice becomes a stain on your CV.

Found a fix that may work for those with nVidia cards, not AMD sorry.

Ok, I can now play on some maps but not all before the freeze & sound loop which I need to open task manager & crash the game myself.

So, this is how I did it (from another post of someone who found a workaround).

I deleted the nVidia sound drivers from device manager.

I opened the NVIDIA folder in C:\  deleted the audio files from there, theres also a %temp% file somewhere (I'll hunt down my orginal source & edit this later) but I never got that far.

Then I restarted & I can play on most maps, not Paracel Storm, Dawnbreaker or The Locker on China rising.

Operation Metro crashes after a few minuts but Firestorm & Caspain Border seemed OK.

Apparently DICE know about it & are working on a fix according to Battlelog.

Fingers crossed.

Hope that helps someone.

Also crashed on Dawnbreaker, Paracel and Locker, and after Second Assault today I crashed instantly (more or less) on Metro.

What helped for me (i think the problem is gone) was switching to Low Graphics Preset setting and switch to Mantle as driver. Hope this might help someone until dice gets a fix out. If you have Nvidia, try to just switch to Low Graphics Preset.

Cheers!

Doesn't work for nVidia

Same piece of **bleep**. Nearly instant freeze.

Great.. I uninstalled the beta drivers yesterday because it gave me more errors than before.. and no problems yesterday after installing the older drivers.. and now it crashes on the old drivers.. I give up..
