BF4 starts on integrated graphics (laptop GTX660M)

hey! 


LAPTOP: 

cpu i72670QM 
gpu: geforce gtx 660M 2gb 
ram: 8gb ddr3 kingston 
Hybrid HDD seagate momentus XT 
Windows 7 64bit 

Game does not start with my dedicated graphic card. it uses integrated gpu and the framerate is about 5fps. nvidia geforce is not working (i see it on the graph in gpugadet in windows). i have installed newest drivers + newest beta drivers for bf4 beta. i have also set bf4.exe to start with dedicated graphic card in nvidia driver. always the same - pure mega lag on all settings. any ideas? i have NVIDIA OPTIMUS.

 

i was starting the game about 30times and now ive got this - > http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/2920/0tk3.png ... i was also tryin deleting PROFSAVE profile in settings folder. starting the come thru chrome / firefox ...

    nVIDIA produces a line of cheap mobile GPUs that are only half of what a "real" GPU's chip contains.  The names are all "Optimus", and a huge percentage of them act just the way yours is doing now, in a very wide range of games.  You'll need to seek the answers on the nVIDIA forums.

    funny cause bf3 runs for me smoothly on medium/high on 1600x900 on my previous laptop (with i5 and geforce GT650M). ...

    goraththeelder doesn't know what he's talking about .....

     

    The game DOESNT RUN ON THE NVIDIA card, it runs on the INTEGRATED GRAPHICS! that problem is not in bf3, but it IS IN BF4! they need to fix it FAST!

     

     3 days now that i can't play a decent round because of low fps because of **bleep**ty onboard graphics.... 

     

    inb4 "change it via nvidia control panel" ...; I DID !

    I've got the exact same problem rastafaraypl

    many people with laptops are having this problem, god damn it makes me mad; there's nothing we can do and we simply have to wait for a patch, but i know that's going to take months !

    IVE FOUND A WORKAROUND TO MAKE IT WORK ON YOUR GRAPHICS CARD!

    connect your laptop to your tv via HDMI, for me, the hdmi output is from the nvida card, so all display automatically goes trough there!!! can finally play well!!!

    This has nothing to do with BF4, EA or DICE.

    Your need to change your BIOS, select GPU "FIXED", and then restart, that will force the computer to start with "real" GPU NVIDIA

    at least for my optimus laptop, y580, i only have the option of choosing switchable graphics or UMA graphics in my bios.
