When i try to start BF4 it won't go beyond the initial blank back screen and will not start.
i was working fine before the DLC weapons issue which i reinstalled the game with all the addons but now it will not start up at all. i tried the repair option still no luck
Windows 11
any advice would be apricated

thanks for the reply.. i tried everything under the sun except another uninstall and reinstall which i did a countless number of times.. EA support wasn't much help either... i was told to follow the steps in a website basically stopping all my non Microsoft services running in the background....
however i decided to bite the bullet and did an uninstall via the EA App then cleared the EA APP cache.. after which i located any folders with BF4 and manually deleted them..
reboot......
Reinstall via the app .....
And now its working again....
i thinking the EA App must of had corrupted cache files from the previous downloads... but who knows.... its working again!!!!

I'm glad to hear that the problem has been fixed. It seems that the error was due to a corrupted file if reinstalling the game resolved the issue.
