ok lets try it this way then ...
Do you have CC Cleaner on your PC if not please d/l free version at this link.. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
Once you install CC Cleaner then Clean registry of your PC it will give you the choice to back up.
Next we rule out windows helping to make this issue just to be safe....
Test your windows for errors as a clean windows install does not always make a stable windows.
NOTE: Running SFC does not guarantee the crash will not happen, but it will ensure it is not because a windows Dll or file is corrupted in windows.
This works in all windows O/S vista Win7, Win8 and Win8.1 windows system file checker :] Copy and past this to note pad and put it on your desktop. As open programs can give you errors when you run this.
sfc /scannow, ever hear of it if not your going to love this, it will inspect all the important windows files as well as the windows DLL files. If windows system file checker finds any issues with the windows files and windows DLL files it will replace them / try to fix them. This little tool as well as the event viewer on a PC saved me and fully helped me fix my BF4 issues as well as saved me many a format since I found it. This is the best toy they ever put in windows :womanvery-happy:
-For win7 go to start/ bottom left screen / windows globe .. Right click in search type cmd and right click cmd pick run as administrator.
-For win 8.1 right mouse click start bottom left of screen / windows box and pick command prompt administrator.
1-Open administrator command prompt and close web pages and programs like Origin, Steam etc.
2-Type or copy and paste in sfc /scannow and hit enter, This takes 5 min to 15 min SSD vs HD
3-This can go one of a few ways ..... no errors ... it fixed some errors ..... could not fix all errors...... does not finish checking and errors out ....... and the last one could not fix errors at all :/
4-After its done REBOOT PC and Run sfc /scannow again even if you had no errors the first time or had errors, could not fix run sfc /scannow again and when its done a second time reboot. You need to do this a and get no errors 2 x in a row ...
5-So if you ran it 2x and no errors your safe you can stop. If you had errors first time but not the second then run sfc /scannow again and when its done reboot. You need to get could not find any errors 2 x to be safe. If it still finds errors try and run it a few more times until it finds no errors 2x AND ALWAYS REBOOT BETWEEN RUNNING sfc /scannow
6-If you get a message indicating that it can not be repaired and you ran sfc /scannow more then 3x in a row on win vista or 7 mm you need a format or try repair win 7 :/ But after format or repair and all updates are done run sfc /scannow to make sure your windows is stable same deal 2x error free reboot between them.
NOTE-If your O/S is Win8 or Win 8,1 then you can run the next few command lines in administrator command prompt. Sadly this does not work for win vista or 7 :/ Note: After you run each command line Reboot PC.
This next part of windows scans is only for windows 8 & windows 8.1
Reboot PC after you run each command line and close programs and web pages.
And same deal as above run command prompt administrator.
1-This command line will scan the health of your PC:
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
2-This command line will restore the health of your PC and you don't lose anything on your PC :
dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Note: If you get errors with the two command lines above and it cant be fixed with second command line and if you are on windows 8.1. Then use third command line but be warned it could take up to two hrs to fix your PC but it will save you a format. I had a friend test this on a PC with errors when it could not be fixed with second command line. :womanvery-happy:
This next part of windows scans is only for windows 8.1 : Credit goes to CptBigoso for finding this..
And same deal as above run command prompt administrator.
1-If restore heath gave you errors then you can always try this command line:
dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
2-If you get Error 0x800F081F with the restore health scan then run this command line. After you reboot your PC then run third command line to be sure your windows is fully stable.
Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore
If windows is not the issue and BF4 is still giving same error then go to this step but do it as stated to be sure it is a clean install and does not install all the junk video cards love to give us.....
Video Card drivers and doing a clean install.Credit goes to aT1C for his steps
Note.. with the video card driver it installs so much junk :womanfrustrated: and some of it just makes issues so if you want it this is how I do my driver now as I have my BF fully stable and I want to keep it this way .
First I only install two things from it 1- Graphics Driver 2- PhysX System they can keep the rest :womanlol: See steps below.
This is how you do a clean graphic driver clean install:Credit goes to aT1C for his steps
Start by downloading your graphic card drivers from here,
AMD; http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
NVidia; http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Download the one you have and save it on desktop, you are going to need it!
After downloading the video card driver follow these instructions to the letter,
1- press windows button,
2- right click my computer,
3- press property’s, you will get a new window here.
4- in the new window click device manger on your left side of the screen, you will get another new window here,
5- you will see in the latest window a list of devices you have in your computer, click on the arrow beside Display driver and a small fall down menu will show you what kind of graphic card you have.
6- left click on your (graphic card name) so it’s highlighted in blue,
7- right click (graphic card name) and press property’s, you will get a new small window here,
8- in the new small window click on Drivers, you will see the name between the tabs,
9- in the driver menu click on uninstall, you will now get a really small window that ask you if you’re really sure that you want to uninstall you’re graphic card drivers,
10- click ok,
11- after you have uninstall you’re drivers restart you’re computer,
12- after you have started up your computer, run cc cleaner again on the registry to be sure it is clean then click on your graphic card install file only after registry has no issues,
13- follow the instructions of your graphic card installer, Pick Custom / Advanced and only check off for Nvidia 1- Graphics Driver 2- PhysX System and for AMD card only check off display driver and catalyst control center.
14- when you have Install your graphic card drivers, restart / Reboot your computer,
15- you’re done.
2nd day without error (no crashes in game) but now i'm getting atidxx32.dll_unloaded problem and i can't run AMD Catalyst Control Center after i leave BF4 but so far game is running without an error :catvery-happy:
Make sure windows update is fully up to date and did you update your video card driver the way I posted ?
...... atidxx32.dll_unloaded problem and i can't run AMD Catalyst Control Center..... a old driver could do this.
But good so far game is fixed. :womanvery-happy:
windows is up to date and yes i updated my video card driver with your post (step by step). the strange think is 2 days ago when got that error first time i could able to run AMD Catalyst Control Center but yesterday i couldn't and had to restart my PC. anyway if this game won't crash in-game it's not big problem i can live with that 😕mileyvery-happy: thx again
I would like to see you be able to open Catalyst Control Center as well :womanwink: Or was it just the one time?
yes it was just one time but sadly 3rd day i got MSVCR110.dll again. i played a few maps then left one hour later i joined and it crashed. strange think is last two days i played 2-3 hours (each day) nothing was wrong but today sadly it appeared again
I removed the solution on the post lets get back to work :womanwink: And just the one time with CCC not a issue but if it happens more then a few times then we will look at it more.
So with the MSVCR110.dll showing up again something is still not fully fixed just part way now to find it. First clean your registry again with the CC cleaner reboot PC and run it again keep doing this until it finds nothing.
So the MSVCR110.dll is from Microsoft C++ so you need to do this again it seems some how it has a conflict going on, when you get this error is it showing X86 bit or x64 bit ? If it is x86 then download that one if it is 64 bit then d/l that one. I just got a idea and just double checked on myself on my game PC and I installed both 86 and the 64 bit as it does not hurt anything. I am on windows 8.1 so you can try this as well and maybe this is the issue on your PC as only one is installed? It is worth a shot to try and fix this ..
NOTE>>> you need to select the x64 or the x86 file depending on what architecture your computer has. To find this out, Click Start, right click on "Computer" and select "Properties". Under system type is should say "32-Bit Operating System" or "64-bit Operating System". If 32-bit operating system, download the x86 file, and if 64-bit download the x64 file.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.as
Once done reboot PC and run CC cleaner on the registry again, keep doing this with reboots until CC cleaner finds nothing wrong in the registry.
i'm using x86. it happened 2 times in a row and i can't instal x64 C++.
Is your PC 64bit or 32bit /86bit? If it is 64bit then....
I have both 32bit and 64 bit installed on my 3 PC's but for some reason you have a conflict going on :/ Did you use the CC Cleaner to clean the registry of your PC? If not then you should do this.
CC Cleaner... download free version.
https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standar
Once you install CC Cleaner then Clean registry of your PC it will give you the choice to back up. Then reboot your PC and run CC cleaner again on the registry.
After CC Cleaner finds no issues in the registry then try to install the 64bit only if your PC is 64bit.
If this fails to fix it then.....
Go into control panel , add and remove programs and uninstall the 32bit/ x86 of Microsoft C++ then reboot PC and try to install the 64bit.
Win7 32 bit. i was using Ace Utilities for cleaning registry but after you recommended CC Cleaner i unistalled Ace Utilities and installed CC Cleaner and i always clean registry (everynight before going to sleep or after unistall somethink).
Your smart doing that with the registry your program would do the same thing so thats not it. I think I am blind you have x86 in your title brain fart on my part sorry about that.
Give this a try as you are 32bit...
open Origin and got to games, right mouse click on BF4 and pick Game properties from this a window will open and change the x64 to x86 if it is not done already and see if this helps.
Hello,
I would suggest the following steps:
Good luck!
Cheers
np Zorlacc i appreciate your effort and patience thanks for trying to help me (btw there's no any options which i can select bit versions. just only Command Line Arguments and Disable Origin in Game for this game)
and sHoWt1mE i already tried almost all of your suggestions except disabling Origin in game and i looked my PC and couldn't find user.cfg btw after disabled Origin in game i played almost 1 hour and left without any error. i'm not sure if it's solved or not so far no error.
Sorry I went to post to you and put it in your post thats why it says edit by me not awake yet lol never done that before to funny. Sorry about that rugyoT I put your post back to what you had. :womanembarrassed:
I agree with sHoWt1mE regarding this and could well fix this but just to add to it as it just makes BF4 run nicer when all are used together......
Run the game as Administrator:
Go to the Origin games folder (C:\Program Files (x86 for you)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4) and find Bf4.exe. Right click it and go to PROPERTIES, then COMPATIBILITY and check the box next to RUN THIS PROGRAM AS ADMINISTRATOR.
Run Origin as Administrator:
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin and right click on Origin.exe and go to properties. Then go to compatibility tab and check the box next to RUN AS ADMIN.
Disable Origin in game:
In Origin - Application settings - Origin in Game - disable Origin in game
Origin Cloud Storage turn it off
Origin, settings, General
Make Sure BF4 is set to 64bit if your windows is 64bit <----- For you this one is X86 as you know.
1- open origin and go to My Games
2-Right click BF4 and go to Game Properties
3-Under when launching this game set it to x64 and check off disable origin in game.
4- Hit apply REBOOT your PC and then test your BF4
C:\Users\your PC Name\Documents\Battlefield 4
BF4 folder in my documents holds game configs and screen shots even if BF4 is installed on different drive. When you uninstall BF4 it does NOT remove this folder. So when you install the game again you can still have the same issues. Even if its not a new install it is still worth trying as the game cfg could be mucked up.
1- Go to my Documents and remove BF4 folder place it on your Desktop for now. <---you do not need to do this at this point , just posted it so you know how to find it.
2- Be warned you do have to set up your in game settings again.
3-Repair BF4
4- When done go test your game. If it fails reboot your PC and run repair game again and test BF4.
