BFBC2 - Failed to login soldier.
Tried to login to BFBC2 this morning, got the message 'failed to login to soldier' when i tried to login.

Wednesday 18th September to Thursday 19th September
There will be ongoing EA network maintenance starting at 10pm PDT/05:00 UTC until Thursday 19th September 3am PDT/10:00 UTC.
Between 1am PDT/08:00 UTC and 2am PDT/09:00 UTC on Thursday 19th September there may be some impact for players which includes:
- Being unable to log in to Origin
- Existing SimCity (and other EA titles) players may drop connection to EA, Origin and SimCity
I was actually playing last night between 10pm-2am PDT. No problems at all. So today when expected maintenance is over that's when I can't log in? Maybe they're just late >_>; I find this one weird cause I usualy get "Unable to connect to EA" or "Failed to connect to EA servers," something similar like that. I've never seen "Failed to login soldier" before O.o
Also, I'm using a copy that's not Steam or Origin (but I can launch with Origin, I just don't). I've looked around the "Popular" PC servers on Gametracker:

Looks like not everyone is affected.
this is messed up, get your **bleep** together and sort this out now, had one soldier at rank 50 which i can no longer access, another i had to start which is now level 29 and now this one cant login for the last 12 hours, if i create a new soldier i can start again at lvl 1 sweet **bleep**ing joy.

I can't log in soldier either. This sux.
Still having the same problem. It's 3:24 PM Central time.
Last time a seen a game host do this they closed all servers for the game so that they can get ready for the newest release. I see them shutting down BFBC2 for an undisclosed amount of time....
Everyone will be forced to play BF3 which sucks. Or wait for the open BETA of BF4 which none of us care about.
We love BFBC2 and we are hoping that they will get the hint and restart the servers and Next make a BFBC3!!!!!!!
