BFBC2 Code Redeem

Hi,

When I try and redeem my BFBC2 on Origin, it says

"We're sorry, this code cannot be redeemed here. Please redeem your code at the following site: https://activate.ea.com/applyentitlement.do. FAQ"

 

Then when I click it, just forwards me to https://www.origin.com/au/account

 

and I get nowhere and cannot redeem it at all, this is quite pathetic, buy a game that I cannot even redeem.

 

Why is this happening?

    wow.. So I cannot just email, instead, EA want me to waste time waiting an hour + for live chat. Bravo EA, Bravo.

    You need to contact customer support for this

     

    The AnswerHQ is about Users helping Users.

    They can be found here: https://help.ea.com/contact-us/ask

    Choose a category, a game and a platform for the contact options to show up.

    If live chat is gray, change your country to US and make sure you're on US Business hours. It might also gray because they're very busy. Try later.

    I've the same problem and I've been contacted them and they said "The Problem Is from the game.because this game is old".

    Lol, EA are a joke, game is merely 3 years old.

    You know, when you purchase something, you expect to be able to play it, doesn't state  - If this game becomes somewhat of age, you may not be able to redeem - Just a fking joke.

    But you probably just got an idiot, I mean.. there are older games that still redeem fine, without an issue, and honestly, I don't really see how the age of a title can possibly cause an issue, EA coded this sh*t, they caused it.

    I am currently talking with an 'Game Advisor' now.

    I am getting nowhere though, after an hour or so of talking to some dude, he then says It needs to be escalated and that he'll send an email, as I was about to ask when it will be sent,  so I have a reference time, he disconnects. I hope it gets sent :S

    Almost 2 weeks, and not a single response from EA, guess I am the stupid one for thinking they would be useful. ☹️
