BFBC2 install - "the cabinet file c3.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used"

Trying to install Battlefield Bad Company 2 in Win7 Home Premium and keep getting variations of this error

the cabinet file c3.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used

Brand new install of Win7 - this is a retail disc I bought new, no scratches, the same disk installed on XP. I tried copying to a h/d and installing from there, tried installing in Safe Mode using SafeMSI, keep getting the same error.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Maybe your disc is damaged, maybe you cant see it but its damaged.

I recomend you try download another copy and use your cdkey.
