BFBC2game.exe Application Error.

I haven't played BFBC2 for quite a long time now and I wanted to jump back into the game so I tried to install it from DVD but that failed - Installation just stopped right in the begginning and kept doing nothing for a long time so I thought the DvD is broken. Then I decided to download it through origin but when I tried to run the game, this error showed up http://gyazo.com/0cefc2cb95e59a4188de3da3fe57f4a9 it says "BFBC2game.exe - Application Error: Application (0xc000007b) has failed to run correctly. Click OK to exit the application". I played this game on this laptop before however Windows and everything else had to be reinstalled like 2 months ago. I tried reinstalling it multiple times, updating PB, installing directx, and I am out of ideas. Do you have any? 🙂
