I'm looking to buy BFHL for my PC. I meet all of the requirements except for the internet. I have internet but its DSL and very slow. I read that you need internet to activate the game. I also understand it would be needed for updates and multiplayer. Is it required for all other game play or can you play offline? If that has already been asked please point me in that direction. Thank You.

If this is your first Battlefield game then I recommend to create new Origin account if you don't have one.
Download Origin from here: https://www.origin.com/en-gb/download
BFHardline game you can purchase from Origin store, you have BFHardline Standard, Digital Deluxe and Ultimate chose the one you want and begin installation.
No you cannot play offline mode.

Its not my first BF game. I've played 2 and 3 but on Xbox 360. This is my first time playing on PC. You didn't even answer my question..
It depends what kind of games do you want to play, not all games from Origin required internet to play online!
Are there any specific games you would like to play?
