Ahoy,
just got my BF4 (PS3) today and played it first time. For sure first the single player mode.
I have the same problem. In Mission 2 - Rescue the VIPs - at the helicopter place.
-> Black Screen - Sound is on - i can shoot and play blind.
Tried following:
1)
Delete -Game data- (not saved game) and reinstalled the update.
-> didnt work, same problem
2)
Went into the "Recovery" Menue and choosed: "Restore File System"
- it said: found errors, repair
i hoped that would it be... but
-> didnt work, same problem
3)
Again into the "Recovery" Menue and choosed: "Repair Database"
AND for SURE that didnt work again!!!
I realy dont want to say what i think. I'm also a profesional programmer and if my company would
delivier software as that i would be broke! Its unbelivible how long u know that bug now, i guess over 1
year and didnt fix it. But intead the big companies like urs use the cutomers as betatester.

after all what ea recommanded, last option, restart mission.
And what should i say?! It stll dont work. Same problem!!
After the Heli is starting and the one vip is shoot, ther is a secound attack,
unfortunaly i got killed, i restart at the helideck with a black screen again!!
So what does that mean? Its not allowed to die at the roof with a ps3?
I did all what was possible. Thats real poor!
