Bluetooth headset not going through to game (ps3)

When I was going into the game (it was loading up to the opening scene) I turned on my Samsung HM1300 headset and for some reason my game didn't pick up the audio source from then on. It works with my ps3 (under accessory settings) and picks up my voice just fine, but when I try in battlefield the icon saying that I have a mic doesn't even show up. Please help, update, etc.
P.s. It has done this in BF3 for other Bluetooth mics

I am sorry but there is not much we can do if you have issues with a specific non official PlayStation headset. You can try to re-install your game but I doubt that this will help.

    Cheers

Check "Manage Bluetooth devices" under accessory settings just to make sure that your playstation is detecting your Bluetooth headset, then check to make sure that under audio device setting the microphone level is adjusted correctly and it's picking up your voice when you speak. Obviously make sure that your input device is your headset. If that's all good and out of the equation as to what can be wrong, go to options in Battlefield 4 and make sure VOIP is on under the audio tab so you are able to speak to your squad.

I hope this helps, it worked for me so this is why I added my input!
