Cannot fix "battlefield not installed" error, tried everything...

So out of the blue today i've all of a sudden got the battlefield not installed error, i haven't changed a thing on my pc, ive done a goggle search and tried all the fix instructions.

I've verified the registry

One thing to point out is when i try the origin.exe /register step, when typing “C:\Program Files (X86)\Origin” into command prompt i get the error: file name, dir name incorrect error.

also tried running BF4 as admin and don't have any registry tools.

Im totally stumped, help pls!

    Turns out it was zonealarm firewall all along, thanks for the help

    Try to repair your game, right click on BF4 in origin-> repair game
