The Battlefield 4 Team knows about this but we don't have any further information at the moment.
- Anonymous12 years agoSo are they gonna fix this?

We don't have that information at the moment. It might be due to technical limitations with 32 bit operating systems.

just in case anyone could not change graphics settings when running bf4_x86.exe..
1- open up PROFSAVE_profile using notepad which is found in 'C:\ Users\...\ MyDocuments\ Battlefield 4 \ settings '
2- set the 'OverallGraphicsQuality' to 5 and save.
This will set video options to 'custom' in-game :D ...hope it helped you - Anonymous12 years ago

The way i fixed it by simply changing Origin's compatibility mode to none.
Right click Origin and click "Properties". Then, go into the compatibility tab and uncheck "Run this program in compatibility mode for".
It should work, it worked for me
