Just to be sure WorernScar, do you have a controller attached to your PC?

I sometimes have a 360 controller connected which totally messes up my keyboard layout. For me, it continues to press ESC.

If I quit the game - disconnects my controller and opens up the game again it works fine.

Beside that, try some of the most trivial things like:

    1. Update ALL drivers (including your graphics card which is very important)

    2. Unplug all USB devices

    3. Open the game and ALT + TAB out of it (or access your desktop by pressing Windows + D) and reopen the game

    4. Disable Origin In Game

    5. Try a repair install of Battlefield

If none of this works them, I'm sorry mate.. I would contact EA at: http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/?product=origin&platform=pc
